June 4, 2024, the day when the counting of votes sent out chilling results across Bharat and the world. Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) the reigning party of Bharat was fighting for third consecutive term while the Opposition led by Indian National CONgress was fighting to defeat Narendra Modi led NDA.
The results were certainly a shocker. while Opposition didn’t succeed in defeating the NDA which got past Majority mark, but were able to reduce BJP by roughly 63 seats resulting in BJP not meeting the half way mark. Opposition 1, BJP 0. Yes that’s the point that is making every BJP supported sulk.
The results clearly indicate that Narendra Modi ji will once again be the Prime Minister as NDA ran the entire election campaign in his leadership and it is in his leadership NDA believes. However, the BJP supporters, the Core Hindu voters of BJP are sulking for letting their visionary leader down. While the whole aspect was to have BJP and NDA cross the figure of 400, it didn’t happen. Forget 400, NDA couldn’t cross 300. This is where the Core BJP Supporters are Unhappy and are Not celebrating the Win. For them, not being able to achieve their own goal is not a Win to celebrate.
On the other hand, opposition is claiming it to be a Morale Victory. With entire opposition not even coming close to the total seats BJP won on. How interesting the CONgres that got 99 seat, couldn’t even score 20% of the total seats is celebrating. The oldest and grandest party is celebrating. Why is the question to be asked and answered. For them 2024 General elections were pre cursor run for the 2027 UP elections and 2029 General Elections. They were able to test the waters and they succeeded in their experimentation. the Coalition they had with Samajwadi Party (SP) in UP won most seats. The experimentation was to polarize their core votebank, break Hindu Votes by Castes and woo them by offering Freebies and Free money. Yes that worked!! BJP Lost Amethi and Faizabad/Ayodya seats which is quite a setback among other seats lost.
What BJP needs to do now? what we need to do now? and what is the aspect that we need to focus on to negate the losses and revive our efforts for 2027 UP elections and 2029 General elections?
Answer to the above questions can be probably identified in the below points –
1. Start the ground work today
2. Get to the pulse of people and work on local issues
3. All BJP politicians / MPs need to connect with block and village level Party workers on regular basis
4. Camp in the constituencies and ensure locals are heard, their grievances are addressed and a one-to-one connect is established
5. Whether they won or lost, they need to ensure that they connect with the voters on regular basis e.g. Narendra Modi ji in Varanasi and Smriti Irani in Amethi. Your regular connect and listening capabilities always take you to next level.
What We need to do –
1. Ensure that we continue our support and our trust in Modi ji led Govt and BJP
2. Not sulk for too long, but start our efforts for reaching out to the people, understand what narrative was set that diverted their votes
3. Work to reduce the caste divide and be proud Hindu
4. Create District, Town, Block and Village level groups and organize at least Monthly meetings to cover the constituency and Wear out Attitude (Hindutva) during these meetings and visits
5. Work with locals and ensure they are heard, not just stay in our comfort room and be SM warriors
6. Where possible Setup Youth Camps and make them aware about the Govt intiatives, aspects of Sanatan Dharm that need to be followed
7. Popularize the aspects of Sanatan Traditions, Sanatan Culture and Sanatan Economics. If these things would have known better to the folks in Ayodhya, BJP wouldn’t have lost there
The Key aspect that need to Propel is – Make each Voter understand that their VOTE COUNTS. They should take Viting as serious as Breathing.
2029 Elections are key for Hindutva to survive, because if that election is lost then the Sanatan Values will be buried for ever. The Nation that stood strong for 1000 year plus invasions and conversions will be lost because of Selfishness and Ego Trip of Hindu Voters!
