With the completion of 10 years by BJP government in May 2024, the country is going to get in the election mode from March 2nd week and the Election commission will enforce Model Code of Conduct. However, the run up to the elections has already started and the political parties, be it National or regional, have already started their informal campaigns.
Each party would have its own agenda on how to lure voters. While BJP would focus on the voters riding on the all round development agenda, the focus would be on Hindu voters basis the Ram Temple inauguration in Shri Ayodhya Dham, other national / regional parties in opposition would look at the agenda of ousting Narendra Modi led BJP Government. However, other than defeating BJP, they do not have any outlook on the Nation Building and overall Development of Bharat.
Let’s have a look at the Opposition Parties including Aam Admi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal, Trinamool Congress, Congress, DMK, etc who have Presence on the Political circuit due to State Level Governments.
Aam Admi Party (AAP) –
- While they came into force with the Anti-Corruption Agenda in their first term in Delhi State Assembly, their second term as well as their win in Punjab is all thanks to the freebies promised by them. The party however, neither has any development agenda, nor does it provide with a promising Governance outlook. Be it Delhi or Punjab, we see blatant corruption by the Party, Misuse of Government funds, Misuse of Government Machinery and other poor governance aspects that have thrown both Delhi and Punjab in a utter chaos.
- Party Leader Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi has Nothing Credible to claim on. HIs ministers are behind bars and he is facing heat from Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the Liquor Scam. He is also under the lenses for the lavish Bungalow built for himself without due permissions et al.
- The Party overall seems to be providing safe heavens to the Illegal Immigrants and Anti-National factions like Khalistanis.
- It has failed to curb the illegal structures across Delhi.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) –
- If mismanagement, Mis-governance and atrocities have to be given a face, Trinamool Congress aka TMC in West Bengal is the name of it. Statewide atrocities on Hindus, Blatant use of State Power to support illegal migrants from Bangladesh and Myanmar, victimization of Voters who don’t support TMC, Booth Capturing etc are all the signature style of TMC Supremo Mamta Bannerjee.
- Add to the list of activities by the Party, it would be interesting to note that corruption runs at the highest cader to flow down as District and Block level leaders. From weird paiting sales to Sharda Chit fund and other similar scams to the recent Gang Rapes, TMC has many feathers in Cap to count on its miscreation in West Bengal.
- Big negative for the Party is it’s failure to curb Illegal immigration, and rather using that to increase its electoral votebank by providing the illegals with voter IDs as well as other Government documents to live in the country.
- To the Core, TMC is responsible for the mushrooming of Illegal migrants and changing demographics in several other states across Bharat.
Congress –
- The Oldest and the Grandest Party that once stood as synonym to the nation. That formed government at the center today is at War for Existence and Relevance. However, if we look at the history of the party, we find that right from the time A.O Hume established it until now, it is neck deep in Corruption, Minority Appeasement and every other Anti-National agenda, be it backing off from Laddhakh (Aksai Chin) and surrendering Whole of Tibet to China. What AAP and TMC summed up above are basically the tip of the Iceberg when it comes to Congress.
- Congress is also the root for the Khalistan problem, issues in North-East, Linguistic Division for North and South Divide and many other issues that otherwise didn’t exist or should have been addressed well.
- Disrespect and Disregard to the Bharatiya Army had always been in the DNA of Congress or so it seems. Right from the 1947-48 War with Pakistan for Kashmir to 2014, there had been hardly any notable year when Congress at the helm of power would have done something Concrete for the Defense Forces and given them their due regards. The most Shameful Act towards disrespecting the Defense Forces was the Shimla Accord of 1972 when the then Prime Minister of India sitting on an Unconditional Surrender by Pakistani Army, released 93000 Pakistani Soldiers without negotiating for the Indian Soldiers in Pakistan’s Captivity or without Negotiating for POK including Gilgit Baltistan that till date is illegally occupied by Pakistan.
- If we start counting the misdeeds of Congress with the nation and the citizens, words will be less. Imagine that it accorded the 1971 Win to Indira Gandhi but deprived Field Marshall Sam Manekshaw off his Salary for 30 years that was later to be sorted out by the then President of India APJ Abdul Kalam.
- Making false Poll Promises and then trying to Blackmail the voters is typical Congress culture that is being exhibited in both Telangana and Karnataka where the Party is in power and where it had promised freebies to lure the voters.
DMK –
- Though limited to Tamilnadu, Stalin led DMK is no lesser evil. The whole issue of LTTE, Tamil and Sinhli divide in Sri Lanka, Linguistic divide between North and South was further fanned by DMK from the time of Karunanidhi
- Stalin, the current CM of Tamilnadu and his son Udainidhi Stalin are carrying forward the legacy of Karunanidhi. Both the father and the son duo has gone even to the extent of calling for eradication of Sanatan from the land.
- DMK has also been the party to establish the pre-poll freebies distribution starting from the Food Processors to Cellphones and Laptops. This practice has given rise to the Freebie culture in Tamilnadu and it has been long enough to have overall development and growth stalled.
- DMK has also been fundamental failure in checking on the rise of Anti-National agenda based on North-South Divide and by say silently supporting the Dravid Nation theory. Though it has not comet out in open or been ultra-vocal on the issue, but it has been nurturing the thought through its support.
Other parties that include NCP, Samajwadi Party, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Fraction), BRS and many other smaller regional Parties are all in a way on the similar lines as Congress or TMC or DMK. Be it RJD in Bihar, NCP in Maharashtra, Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh, or Shiv Sena – Uddhav in Maharashtra, all the parties somewhere or other have same DNA of corruption. It is interesting to Note that other than Shiv Sena – Uddhav, every other party somewhere has its roots associated in Congress, NCP and TMC are noteworthy for that specific case.
The BJP
Now coming to the Bhartiya Janta Party, I wouldn’t say BJP is clean like crystal. It has its own share of Unworthy achievement, but when you dip in water, you are supposed to get wet. So is the case with BJP. With its top leadership having its own share of pros and cons, BJP has ben a party that runs on Cadre based system. A true Organization with Democratic values as well as Autocratic Values co-existing. It may be called for various not so worthy decisions, but when you turn around and look at the way things work out at a leter date, it surprises us.
- The 2016 Demonetization case with sudden declaration of discontinuation of the currency notes in denomination of 500 and 1000, to the current silent rollback of the currency notes in 2000 denomination is something that in a way are very Harsh decisions. But, when we look around to see the comprehensive view of “Jan Dhan Account”, “Direct Account Transfers”, Digital Economy where the last mile retailers to the street vendors also Accept Digital Payment is something worth reviewing.
- Though the Party can be well called for divisive politics riding on the wave of Hindu Centric Agenda, but then it has been meeting its Poll Promises one by one. From Abrogation of Article 370 to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya Dham to the Legal battle for Kashi Vishwanath and Mathura Krishn Janmbhumi, the Party stood by its core values. Not that it neglected other sections of the society or National Fabric, but the promises it made to the Largest Social Community of Bharat, it stood by those promises.
- All round development of the country to get the country out of precarious 5 from financial perspective to the top 5 from financial perspective, this party has delivered under the leadership of Narendra Modi aptly supported by his trusted Colleagues.
- Though from time to time there had been allegations on the party to have used various incidents to remain in power like Uri, Pulwama, Ladhakh skirmish with Chinese soldiers etc, the deeper dive on the situation reveals otherwise with involvement of Cross Border Deep State Actors. BJP again comes clean at this stage
When looking at the Above as stated, it is certain that if today we look at the Development of Nation as well as Sanatan Values including that of Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam, BJP stands out as the only choice for us. Other Parties, though came into existence on the premise of Fighting Corruption, Development and other Poll Promises, they all are way deep in corruption as well as Religious and Linguistic Divide. What we need to look forward now is to ensure that we organize ourselves and vote basis the overall comparison of the candidates and the Parties.
For me to conclude, My Vote will be for Bhartiya Janta Party Candidate to ensure Narendra Modi comes back to power with thumping majority to lead the Nation to Top 3 economies by 2027-28
